


There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.

Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests.

In order to unpack an audio file, you need to download the 'reformat' and 'extract' tools over at, just download the latest release on GitHub, then you must drag and drop your audio file onto 'reformat' first and then 'extract' and it will produce a playable. You can find all of GTFO's sound assets in game directory/GTFO_Data/StreamingAssets/GeneratedSoundBanks GTFO's music and sounds are in Wwise Wave containers (.wem, I'll refer to these as "audio files") and Wwise sound banks (.bnk), these files can't be opened in a music player and require external tools for conversion. It is incredibly easy to unpack Unity assets, so I won't go so in-depth here, you can find all Unity assets in game directory/GTFO_Data, they all end in '.assets' and can be opened with an extractor such as UABE ( ) or uTinyRipper ( ). Unity Assets (Textures, models, animations, etc.) Forewarning: Don't use these assets without permission, they're copyrighted, this guide is for personal/educational use only. This is not a question, but more so just a collection of some of my findings and a vague guide.
